Hi Sandy,
yes, if you can keep it as kind of a template, use the VB Editor in Excel 
(Alt F11). You can write the macro once in a workbook, or select a module 
already written, then export the module in VBE (menu: file-->export file), 
saving it to a convenient location on your hard disk (after exporting you 
can rename the file to wathever you wish, the extension will be .bas). 
Then, whenever you need it, just open the VBE in the new workbook, import 
the module (file-->import file) and modify it to suit.
