[mso] Re: Excel - Validation list to another sheet

After receiving David's answer I tried again and found that as long as I
have the same merged cells in the receiving sheet as are in the original
sheet, it did work. This seems odd to me, but it is a way to make it work.
For example, in the originial sheet, this info is in merged cells E1:J1. In
the receiving sheet I originally had E1:K1 - more cells so I tried F1:K1
same # of cells and that did not work. When I tried the same range E1:J1,
it worked.

Thanks for jogging my thoughts David.

That's what I tried, but I got "Value #" as an error instead of getting what
was chosen on the first sheet.

Don't use a drop-down list in any sheets except the sheet the value is
supposed to be selected in. Just bring that selection across to the other
sheets in a simple cell with a formula such as you've used for the date.
