I've tried everything I can think of and the only thing that seems like a clue is that once I receive my test email with a link in it, I open it and when I forward, i can enter a carriage return after the URL which seems to turn it on somehow. I don't know what that tells me though but I'd sure rather the links be live when they are originally opened. I can put in a static link in the merge doc and that works fine, it's just the links that are gotten from a merge field in the excel workbook. Any additional clues appreciated. /g _____ From: Glenda Wells Sent: Friday, May 13, 2005 02:28 PM To: 'mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: Excel Outlook Word email Merge Hyperlink In Excel I have contact information including a different url for each record I used the Word mail merge wizard to create an electronic mail merge The result should include a live hyper link to the web URL The result is the URL is not live, shows as just plain text. any advice appreciated. ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
