Jenna

I do have a former colleague that I have sent this e-mail to him for
review and asked him to let me know if he could support some project
work.

Thank You
Kathy

Subject: [mso] Excel Advanced Expert Wanted

Hello all,
Hopefully this is an okay question to ask. I am guessing if I try to do

this myself, I wouldn't get too much help so...

I am looking to possibly hire an Excel expert (more expert than me) who
can help me with a few challenging projects to include:

Online communication out of excel via RS232 or TCP Data packets (I know
for a fact you can send data in through these methods as well as USB).

Currently, a shared file can be opened and edited by two or more people
in Excel 2007. The only way to see updates from one editor to the other

is if both parties save the file (first the editor, than the other
person who wants to see the changes) which can be done automatically on
a minimum interval of 5 minutes as per Excel's internal settings or
manually. I want to be able to bring this value down into the seconds
range (5-10 max) and even have the changes shown instantly on another
computer that won't be editing the file, but just viewing it.

There are a few other challenges with this project that involve
simplifying the HTML code Excel produces, but I can manage those.

Anyone interested or know of someone who may have these capabilities and

looking for some work? I don't have a ton of money to spend on a stand
alone piece of software for this project, but...
Thanks!
Jenna
