I am trying to assist someone who is having the following problem with
source/destination excel files. When rows are added to the source file, it
messes up the values in the destination file, cause it moves the cell
reference. Here is a sample of how they are connected. It was recommended
he use named ranges instead of cell locations, and when I see the size of
his files, there seems to be hundreds of rows. Any thoughts as to how
this type of situation can be best handled? He has no control over the
source file, they insert rows all the time. But then the value in his
destination file is wrong. Thanks, Cathy

Directory\[My File.xls]My Sheet'!$A$380="",0,1)+IF('\\My Directory\[My
File.xls]My Sheet'!$A$381="",0,1)
