How are you burning to the CD? Through WinXP's CD writing capability, through CD burning software? Are you trying to drag and drop to the CD? Copy/Paste? Something else? When I use WinXP's write to CD option, sometimes my CD gets kicked back as not useable or full or whatever. Usually rebooting will take care of that, but your kickback is a bit more severe than what I see here. -- Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com > I'm using XP and have a recurring problem when attempting to copy Office > 2000 files to a CD RW drive. ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
