<<I'll mention it, but they won't care...cos' as I said, if you create
the form properly it shouldn't need copy/pasting.>>

Forget copy/pasting within the form then. How bout if you've filled in
a form and now want to select a portion of something and copy it and
paste it into something else? Or, how bout if you've filled in a form
and now decide you want to switch some of the text around cuz you wrote
a sentence badly? How bout if you filled in a form and when you got to
the end, you realized they were answering a question that you already
partially answered and you want to go back and just remove that portion
from the first field where you put it?

I don't believe this issue has anything to do with a form being created
properly. I'm not disputing your opinion that THIS form is created
badly....that's your opinion and you are entitled to it. But, I
certainly can think of MANY instances where someone might want to select
just a portion of the text in a field AFTER they've filled in a
form...and, as it works now, this can't be done...not if this field is
within a table.

And, like I said, even after I unchecked that thing in the compatibility
section in Tools>Options, I still couldn't use the control double click
to do what you said, so I DO think it's something that Microsoft should
listen to.

Come on Dian...this isn't about copy/pasting in a badly made form. This
is about a feature that's stupid and I can't think of ANY reason why it
should be there. Unless you CAN give me a good reason why you shouldn't
be allowed to select a single letter or word within a text field in a
table?
