I have a cell custom-formatted date mmyy to display month and year only when a student is due to leave. I want a column in which the username is prefixed by this 4-figure item as a string, but everything I've tried (concatenate etc) always comes up with the name OK but prefixed by something like the numerical equivalent of that date in the Excel Date/Time code.
