Well, I tried that, Linda (feeling sure it would work in Excel 2000) but it
didn't - what it gave me was a repeating sequence of A B A B ... I feel sure
I'm missing something - maybe one has to add the alphabet as a series by
hand? That's why I left it out of my instructions.

I wonder if you could elucidate.  Thank you!
