Right click on the folder in your folder list and choose Properties. In there, click on the Outlook Address Book tab put a check in the box that says "Show this folder as an email address book" Hope you can translate that into keyboard strokes, Paul. All went fine and I successfully set it up just like I wanted it. The new user has full admin rights etc. My one problem however is that every time I use the keys "control plus shift plus letter b" which is my usual way to open up the address book when I wish to add a name to an email it comes up with the following error: Microsoft Outlook The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated with this graphic 899 address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have permissions. For information on how to remove this folder from the Outlook Address Book, see Microsoft Outlook Help. OK I don't know what it means as I wanted an exact copy of the outlook address book and emails which were in my old user profile and so copied then exported the .PST file into the outlook of this new user. The strange thing is that I can see my list of names and email address if I go to the folder list and go into contacts there but it just won't allow me to open the address book the way I always did before. Paul. ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
