[mso] Can I create a new symbol/character?

I am transcribing old wills and trying to maintain the style. This
particular set has three different characters for the word "and" and two of
them I managed to make. The third one looks like the number "4" but rotated
counter-clockwise 90 degrees. Can I create such a symbol please? I am using
Word 2000.
