Carole

Thanks for your reply. I have a Lexmark colour printer and it prints in
colour OK, and I see colour in the print previews.

I have been de-fragging my disk etc and the problem seems to have
diminished. The only thing I cannot do now is see highlighted cells in
Excel, although they show up in Print Preview. Word has started working OK
again and in .ppt, I did not realise that Greyscale was toggled on instead
of Colour, under the View drop-down.

Any thoughts on on the Excel issue welcomed here in wet London, England.

Regards

Ron
