I have and use Access 2000, but I am not sure if this applies.

I have several genealogy databases for which recently there are small files
that have appeared with a name similar to:

Carneal.Access.Lockfile.9
Smith.Access.Lockfile10

So on. I wrote support of the company, they seemed to feel it was an Access
related error. Since I have asked them, can I get a better answer here? I
want to delete them if I can safely do so. They were not there before this
latest version.

Robert
