Hi again, Since I have started using outlook xp I have noticed that I am having difficulty determining which account I wish to use when sending different emails. What I mean is that I have two user accounts, one for work purposes and the other for personal use. In outlook 2000 when I wished to send a message via a particular email address/account, as soon as I would do the "alt key plus s" to place it into the outbox my two accounts would come up and I could arrow to which ever account I wanted that mail to go out on. Now in outlook xp I get the ISP name which happens to be the same for both accounts but I have two different email addresses going through that ISP. To see if it would solve my problem I created two ISP connections and gave them slightly different names. Then I directed each of the email address accounts to go each one of the ISP connections to have the mail seperated between work and personal but I am still having problems and am unsure if I am sending mails out via the different addresses. I suppose I could have them all go out via the one connection but I still wouldn't know which email address was being use to get a reply. For example my email address for sending to this list is "nightraven@xxxxxxxxxx" while I have a different email address for personal use. Each time I send to this group or another group I have to insert my query into someone elses mail and clean it up as this for now seems to be my only way of knowing if I have reached the group. I hope I have made some sense here. Paul. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
