Gene...I have instructions for backing up your address book here:
http://personal-computer-tutor.com/outlook.htm#contacts

No need for a program to do this...you just export it to a text or Excel
file. Simple.

And for your second question. It's always better to install different
versions of Office from older to newer. So, I would uninstall Office XP,
then install Office 2000, then reinstall Office XP...just don't do the
default install...choose to do a Custom install and put the different
versions in different folders...but note that you CANNOT use two different
versions of Outlook on the same machine...you can with the other programs,
but not Outlook.

And...if you have Windows XP, I'm sorry to tell you that you are stuck with
IE6....you can't use a lower version of IE with Windows XP....well, maybe
you can, but I don't know how...and it would be a MAJOR ordeal, but I'm
sure, if it's possible, someone like Vic or Greg could tell you.

Subject: [mso] Address Book and Folders Backup!

I usually just sit here and read many interesting things but I have
noticed this one QUESTION that seems to come up more often than others?

Where is the address book? Why can't I find this address book where is
the folders file so I can transfer it to a new computer? This seems ask
every day!

Why haven't one of you VERY SMART people who live on this list and
others wrote a program that backs up these files or folders or?? Just
think how many would want it! Or at least use it! I back mine up all
most every day but that's another story <g>

I know it can be done so??

Now my question I want to install OFFICE 2000 on my new computer with
Office XP HOME and Office XP2002 How can I install it with out getting
the old EXPLORER 5.? I maybe will keep Office 2002 but? It is giving
me many problems and ??? Office 2000 is better for what I do!
