You can format the field in the word document with a date/time switch,
MERGEFIELD FIELD \@ "h:mm am/pm" . OR you can also format it on the
access query side, make a new date field, NewFieldName:
CStr(Format([Field],"Medium Time")). You can replace "Medium Time" with
any of the listed format names and it should work ok. You may have to
experiment with the formats/switches to get exactly what you want.

                      "Donna"

I have a database table with information including the time of an
appointment. I have the time formatted in the medium format so that it
appears 4:00, and not with the seconds.

When I merge this information in a Word file, however, the time converts to
the 4:00:00 format.
