Peggy, You should be fine deleting the extra instances of the table. James -----Original Message----- From: Wier, Peggy J. M. [mailto:pjmwier@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, August 06, 2002 9:45 AM To: 'mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [mso] Access Relationships :VSMail MX1 In the relationships window, I tried several times to create a relationship between two tables by dragging the primary key in one table on the foreign key in the other table and enforcing referential integrity. Each time I closed the relationships window I selected "yes" to save my relationships. When I opened the relationships window again the relationship did not seem to take: that is, the relationship line was not there between the two tables. I tried restarting Access. I tried restarting my machine. Still had the same problem. So based on an earlier experience, I created a new database and imported everything from the old. I went into the relationships window and it shows the one (primary key) table SEVEN times with a relationship between each one and the table with the foreign key. Does anyone have any ideas? Can I delete the other six relationships and tables be okay? Or do I need to create yet another new database? Peggy J. M.
