A recent change to the github code that lights up our msi laptops has
broken the procedure in the ebook.
There are 3 "git clone..." commands in the procedure to download the code.
Skip these steps and unzip the folders called msi-keyboard and node-hid
from this archive above instead.
All other steps are valid.
I ran into this issue after upgrading to mint 18 beta.
I assumed it was a mint 18 issue and contacted the coder.
I never heard from him, went back to mint 17.3 and found I had the same
error.
Thank God I had a backup of those two folders with the original github code.
It pays to backup.
