I can't answer for Postini but I know in GFI, anybody that gets sent an =
email from your users is automatically added to the whitelist. You can =
also configure it so they have their own personal junk mail folder that =
the spam gets put in. That way they can look there quickly find a =
message that was erroneously marked as spam.

We are looking to implement a spam blocker as well, so this is very =
timely
info. My question regarding Postini experience is : How quickly can you
adjust the black/white lists? We have executives who demand immediate
response if any of their email is delayed for any reason, and if they =
are
trying to contact a blacklisted company it will create an "issue"

Hey,

I'll third Postini. Besides, not having to use your own resources from a
hardware perspective, you have to also take into account this point...

The SPAM never reaches your server, it's stopped at the Postini server,
therefore your bandwidth is not being consumed as it would be if you =
went to
a software solution and implemented at your mail server or even your =
DMZ.
The bandwidth could be minimal of course, depending on your volume.

Overall, we have been please with Postini.
