I don't know the specifics of it.  I don't think users have to be
informed of it either. Companies have a pretty free hand to look at
whatever they want that is happening on the equipment and servers they
own.

It is legal and is required by some industries.  Brokerages for example.

exchange server to a particular mailbox? This client needs a copy of
