Yes, I'm still working at Cloud9 for a little bit. But, that's because Annette has a client there who needs special care, and while none of her other clients are scheduling with me on a regular basis, I still go in to see what I can do for this particular client, since she lives in a group home. However, after today, who knows if Annette will be able to keep her doors open! As many of you know who live in Michigan or in the Midwest, right now, we're undergoing a February thaw. Bert had actually gotten up on our roof and cleared off snow from there with a roof rake. However, no one had done that at Annette's office. Today, after working on Candy, a client of Annette's who comes in and keeps me company, (simply because the neighborhood Cloud9 is in, really isn't safe), I was walking towards the bathroom to wash my hands, and I stepped in a puddle. I jokingly said to Candy, something about "Did you spill some water, so I could step in it?" That's when she came over and looked. Water is leaking in through the dryer vent. Candy managed to fill a bucket full before we left. Jack, the man who is like a second father to Annette came by at my distressed message, took one look, said he would come back tomorrow and clean it up, told us not to notify Annette, etc. We went through something similar, when we developed a leak, the end result was we ahd mold in our house. If there is mold at Cloud9, I will not be able to work there, until it is cleared up. In a way, I hope that happens, so Annette can take a close look at what is happening to her business. Bea.
