Alright Mr Zachariah. I love Mr Zachariah.
Always know that Jesus loves you.

Hi Bob. I do remember you being in wrestling.
Actually, I only attended Msb for two years.
I only wrestled for a little over one season.
I used to have the blue ribbon, that Al Swain and I won with the Little
League team. The names of the wrestlers are on it. I think that’s probably
the only reason I remember.
I think it’s interesting that four of the six names I mentioned with my
Little League team are now deceased.
Those of us who remain are fortunate to be here.
Or, maybe those who have passed on are the fortunate ones.
It’s a matter of perspective.
I am old; however, I do not feel old. I am still working full-time, I see
about 20 different people a week and have long conversations with people from
many backgrounds.
I am fortunate to have the memories of being on Little League wrestling. I
remember those names you mentioned, Harvey, Van Zandt, Marty, Veray, Bill
Macarthur. And I do remember Willie Myers being a coach as well. He was
actually an assistant coach for the wrestling team.
I remember once, we were working on learning a new takedown. Willie Myers was
my partner. And In wrestling when you learn a new move, you give passive
resistance. You don’t make it easy for the person, but you allow them to
create the takedown or whatever, in order to learn it.
Willie Myers was being stubborn. We worked and worked, he would never allow
me to execute the move. We were learning.
I lost my temper and took a swing at him. I missed big time. Did not connect
with him; however, Coach Zachariah sent me to the shower room.
I walked out of the Matt room that day, and never went back.
That was in the winter of 1972.

Victor Volts and Ron Smit I took one of them down while doing a long fireman
and they landed on me knocking the wind out of me. Good memories for sure.

Bob Spear, you mentioned wrestling.
I think you may have been on Little League wrestling with me. Not sure. Do
you remember?
The two coaches were Al, Swain, and Don Bowman.
The wrestlers were Rex Burkhead, Mark Schroeder, Victor Torongo, Bobby
Blake. And, was the fifth wrestler, Bob Spear? I think you might’ve been
that person. What do you remember?

Hi Vickie, We were married for a short 8 years. Our relationship was
wonderful almost like a fairytale seriously. Of course it was not a
fairytale but we were completely happy. Totally centered on our faith and

I was and than her health started to fail and it progressed quikly. I was
sure I would go first. My health is fair at best yet could be easily
considered poor. So it might not long before I join her. Now I am not in a
rush so don't take it the wroung way. Now we have had some really strong
wind storms with winds around 65 mph but I will take it over tornadoes like
you were dealing with in Michigan and all that snow and cold weather. I
don't miss it at all. So for the time being I am staying here. I have a lot
friends and her family has always been very good to me my life has been
fairly stress free and very peaceful. I am not around stuff I no longer want
to be around even if I don't do it. Even t

I love my son and family some of them have drug problems and live doing
stuff I don't do anymore. I am not judging or saying I don't care about
them. I am just not having to deal with all there problems. Anyway I
appreciate your prayers and thoughts. Hope you are doing well and in good
health. It is hard to believe it has been 50 years since we graduated time
flies bye. Sure wish I was in the shape as I was when I was in wrestling.

Oh Bob, this is so sad. You weren't married to her for very long, but like
you said, you had a special relationship. May God provide comfort and help
to you in this time of need. Blessings to you. I hope you're safe from
this bad storm going through California and Nevada right now. Our thoughts
and prayers are with you and your family.
