Sent later yesterday.
Thank you everybody for your thoughts and prayers and kind words of
encouragement.
We have elected not to go to the ER. Because we are here in Lansing, we know
that
the ER is a filthy place at McLaren. They didn't do the procedure right and we
would
never go there again. If we were at my house, it would be Beaumont, however they
have a very high rate of covid-19. I had to take into consideration what Tony
wanted,
and he has flat out refused to go to any hospital. He does have a phone
conference
with his primary care physician on Monday. That is who the cardiac nurse
recommended,
that Tony get in touch with. So we are staying put and staying safe and praying
a
lot and trying to manage the condition here at home. He is on a medication that
is
supposed to take care of pericarditis, however it's a low dose because it causes
kidney damage, which Tony already has. His nephrologist did not want him to be
on
cholchicine, but decided to allow the cardiologist to put him on a low dose. So
we
have to have faith in the Lord that he will help Tony through this on his low
dose
and we are trying to manage his low blood pressure with a medication called
Midodrine,
plus changing the strength of his peritoneal dialysis solutions. We will
continue
to keep you posted.

Hi Bro,
I'm wondering the same thing. What happened with Saint Lawrence?

Did McLaren use to be another hospital? I don't remember McLaren in all the
time I was in Lansing. Did that use to be Saint Lawrence?

I hate McLaren anyway, compared to Sparrow, they're no match.
But, I sure hope they can do something for him without either of them having
to go to E.R. I know they are screening and separating people now, so you
shouldn't be mixing with somebody who has the virus, but you can't be for
sure since some people are asymptomatic.

Linda Falberg Samul Tony Update: Tony has been experiencing chest
pains again. We suspect that the cardiac window has fused to the
heart and he's beginning to build fluid up between the pericardium &
the heart again. You may remember all he went through back in
February at Beaumont. Before that it was McLaren here in Lansing.
He's tried to contact his cardiologist and the cardiologist is out of
town until Monday. Everybody wants him to go to ER. The problem with
that is both of us are at greater risk for this virus and we have
been taking all measures to stay safe. The ER is germ infested and
you sit and wait for hours. The cardiology nurse will not direct
admit him into the hospital. We are in Lansing right now and the
hospital he would be going to in an emergency would be McLaren. That
is the hospital he was in for his first procedure to drain fluid off
the pericardium. It was unsuccessful because they didn't do it
correctly. This is why we went to Beaumont. It's not an option f
To send a message,me any longer to be with him in the hospital because of the
Coronavirus. Both of us are high risk for the virus and have been
taking measures to stay safe. So at this time we would greatly
appreciate prayers from all our Facebook friends as we go through yet
another episode of Tony's condition. Thank You.To send a message,
