Subject: [msb-alumni] Update on My Husband Duane
Today was the day of Duane’s surgery. He arrived at the hospital before 5:30
when they wanted him to. Surgery was at 7:30, and it must have been on time. I
heard from the doctor around 10:10, who said everything went well. He’ll come
home if he can eat and walk tomorrow. However, Duane forgot, he can’t eat
solid food today at all, just liquids. He also has to sit in a 45 degree
position with a monitor in his right wrist for six hours. Well, the monitor
stays in longer than that, but he forgot he has to sit for that long, sitting
up in bed. So, anyway, just thought I’d let you all know he’s doing OK and
should come home tomorrow. Take care.
