I am beside myself right now. Everything was going so good, so I thought. But,
apparently, the man upstairs has other things in mind for Tony. Here’s Linda’s
message just a few minutes ago. Pray please!

Where is Tony?
He's back at U of M. Last night I went into Tony's U of M portal, while on the
phone with Tony. Poor guy has such bad tremors, most likely from one of the
anti-rejection drugs, he can't use his keypad on his iPhone, to enter in his
username & password. So, I read him the results from yesterday's ultrasound. It
indicated that Tony's kidney has another hematoma. There were also lab results
from Thursdays Clinic, which showed no change in his Creatinine and BUN. Still
way too high. We expected to hear back from the kidney transplant team
regarding this issue. When we were at U of M for Clinic Thursday, we brought up
the asymmetrical belly that Tony has. Yes, of course there is a new kidney in
his lower abdomen, but his belly looks lopsided & distended. We asked about it,
& they said fluid, which would re-absorbed into his body. His blood pressure
which was always low, from dialysis, before his transplant, is now high. When
we expressed our concerns about systolic in the 150s & diastolic in the 80s,
his nephrologist said that was fine for kidney transplant recipients. But today
it was 171/91 & he had major belly pain. I was gathering up some fresh clothes,
treats, & a guitar & tambourine to bring to his room, when he texted me to get
over to South Lyon Rehab ASAP, because an ambulance was on it's way. When I
arrived, speeding like a maniac, trying to beat the ambulance, he was in his
room on the gurney, about to be taken away. He showed me his belly, & he said
it felt like it was gonna explode. They will only hold his rehab room for 24
hours. If he's admitted, I'll have to go pick up the rest of his belongings. I
was in complete panic mode at this point. They wheeled him down the hall, & I
ran after him. "Stop! I can't let you take him until I say goodbye & give him a
hug." All I could do was sob & tell him how sorry I was that he has to go
through all this. God always surprises us with a plan that we don't expect nor
want. But he created Tony, included with a musical gift & fierce intelligence.
He arranged for that miraculous gift of a Kidney, but Tony's road to recovery
has been very rough. We have faith that after all the challenges that have
occurred since Tony's kidney transplant, God is still with him, & this is one
more thing that has to happen before his kidney starts working properly, so
Tony can continue a smoother road to recovery. So, as I type this report with
tears running down my cheeks, I ask that all of you who've been praying for
Tony, to please continue to do so in ernest! Thanking you all in advance for
your prayers, kindness & caring.❤️🫂🙏🙏
