Charles Weir Charles Scott Weir "Scott" Lansing Born September 4, 1957, in
Lansing the son of A. Charles and M. Frances (Fournier) Weir, passed away on
Wednesday, January 07, 2015. Scott was a lifelong resident of Lansing and
graduated from J. W. Sexton High School in 1977. He worked in the Restaurant
Industry at Red Lobster and Jimmy's and had many friends from the old Round
Table. He enjoyed traveling and socializing with friends from the Rainbow
House. Scott resided at Friendship Manor where he enjoyed the camaraderie of
friends and neighbors while playing cards and bingo. He was an avid sports
fan and especially cheered for the Detroit Tigers and MSU Spartans. Scott is
preceded in death by his father, Chuck, a sister, Debra and a brother,
Steve. Surviving are his mother M. Frances, a brother, Brad (Becky), a
sister, Marilou (Tom) Gulick, an uncle, Bob Weir and many loving nieces and
nephews. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00AM at St.
Gerard Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. John Klein presiding. Visitation will
be Friday 6-8PM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta
Chapel, 6020 W. Saginaw Hwy, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00PM.
Memorials can be made to Rainbow House or Friendship Manor in memory of
