I remember Jimmy Rinkenberger used to buy boxes and boxes of the peanutbutter cups. He would sneak them out at night when we weren't supposed to have treats in our rooms and eat a whole box before he was caught.

Weren't all the products you mentioned Mark, sold by the Parent Teacher
council?
I remember they weren't known as the usual acronym, PTA.
Oh my goodness!  The Peanut Butter Cups were so good.  I think I ate a 50
count box on the way home on the bus from Lansing to Detroit one time.
Didn't the Boy Scouts sell them?
Rob was the most true peanut brittle fan though.  I think I remember him
mentioning the peanut brittle in the can.

Subject: [msb-alumni] Peanut Brittle

Does anyone remember the peanut brittle in a can at MSB? I think it was a
dollar a can, and might have been used as a fund-raiser.  All the peanut
brittle I have found since is in a box or bag, and I have never found any
brittle as good as the canned variety at MSB.  Does anyone happen to
remember what brand this was? I have searched online for peanut brittle in a
can, and it does exist.  Before I try any of these I would like to know if
anybody knows what was available at MSB  as that would be the brand I would
first like to try if it can be located.  Should anyone like to expand on
this thread, I also remember the boxes of small peanut butter cups, and of
course the Christmas cookies in a tin.
Mark Martin, 73.
