the nerve block was a bit rough. While I have a high pain tolerance, I
must admit there were a few tears. I felt the first injection all the
way down the side of my left leg from my sciatica, same for the second
in the middle of my leg, as well as third on the right side of my leg.
It felt like getting your teeth worked on with no anesthesia. Suffice
it to say, there were a few tears. I've been sitting on ice off and on
since Thursday. I see the doctor again in 2 weeks. I'm to stay off my
feet as much as possible over the next few days. The whole experience
must have been more draining than I realized, due to my taking a 4-hour
nap yesterday afternoon. I awakened feeling disgruntled. Daryl says I'm
hardly ever grouchy. I wanted to turn around and go back to bed. So, I
ordered pizza instead. LOL! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. They
sure helped me get through the procedure!
