Hi Vickie,
Good news for both you and Tony. Will pray Tony's counts continue to improve,
and you will need no invasive procedures with the hernia. Keep up the good
work both of you.
Marcia

Subject: [msb-alumni] Medical Update on Both Me and Tony
I talked to Tony yesterday. Of course, we’ve all been praying for healing for
his kidneys. Tony continues to get tested by his kidney specialist almost
weekly. So, good news. He improved from 15 percent overall kidney function
two weeks ago, to 19 percent this week. His crinentin, however you say and
spell it, anyway, it’s down to almost 3 and his BUN is down to 38. That’s the
best news for him for more than a year, at least. Yes, the kidney specialist
did advise him to drink more water and so this has contributed to his
improvement. Now, about me. I had tests done back the end of June. The echo
is better than other echo I have had earlier in life. Only the aortic valve
leaks just ever so slightly. And, the ultrasound on my aorta itself, was good,
no aneurysms. My carotid arteries are clear, no blockages, however, they did
see a mass in my neck down by where the thyroid is, that I have had removed.
So tomorrow, Friday, I’ll go for a cat scan on my neck. So, prayers please! I
do have a new hernia, to the right of my umbilical cord and lower. Since the
surgeon said he couldn’t do the mesh cover needed for my stomach, due to the
thinness of my abdominal wall, so when I see the doctor next month, we’ll
discuss if anything, what I can do, other than what I’ve done already, to wear
a wrap, or belt, to help hold it in. OK. I think I’ve covered everything.
Life goes on and it is good today!

May God bless you now, and evermore!
