Marcy,
I'm sooo happy to hear that you're getting better. I've been keeping you and Terry in my thoughts and prayers. I hope things keep getting better for both you folks. Take care and God bless you.

That medication is alapurinal. David took it for gout and I took it before and during chemotherapy something to do with putting calcium back in my bones or something.

By the way, I guess noone has shared my good news yet When I saw the doctor on Monday before I was supposed to have chemotherapy, he told me that the results of the PET scan were that the findings showed that the cancer is gone! He said that I should have someone read the report to me. I had my office manager read it to Terry and me. And it said what he told me. I had to delay my treatment until next Tuesday because I am still taking antibiotics for cellulitis. I'm also having trouble with something going on in my eyes. So I went to the ophthalmologist and I'm taking something for that. But I'm on the home stretch and everything seems to be like peaches and cream from here on as of now. Thanks everyone for your prayers and kindness.

Rob had gout in his right foot, and there were times he was almost in tears. There was one time he had to play a wedding in his slippers, if my memory serves me right.
They put him on Elperinal, not sure of the spelling, but it made a world of difference. He had no symptoms after that.

I have got my know what is going through. Fortunately I never had a reaction to the medication. It's very painful I had in my right ankle and I could barely walk.
