Yes, because so many people are using Instacart, you have to figure on a couple
days
out for delivery. To have a better chance at the items you want are available,
its
best to schedule a morning delivery.

Well, I must’ve said something incorrectly. Are use Shipt all the time. I’ve

used Instacart. I find the webpage and the app to be accessible and usable.
What I
was talking about was deliveries. The there are rarely if ever any deliveries
available on Shipt. The deliveries from Instacart are several days out. So, I
apologize if I implied that the web services were not accessible. That was not
my
intention. I was simply trying to inform people about Schwans which is a very
good
service So, I encourage everyone to try to use Shipt and Instacart. These are
good
services.

I can definitely tell you that Instacart is accessible; both from a
smartphone and
from the computer.
On the Smartphone, when you bring up a store; they'll have some items
highlighted
in different categories. You can also select a category like "Dairy," and then
you
will see different subcategories like "Eggs", "cheese" "Milk" etc.
When you highlight an item, you flick up to select the quantity you want to
add to
your cart. When you highlight that item, after you've selected a quantity, you
can
find the Actions button and flick to add instructions for your shopper i.e.
"get milk
with the latest date available," or when we buy bananas "get the greenest ones."
We've had excellent results when we've used Instacart. I couldn't be happier
with
the produce that the person selected.
And, if they can't find something or recommend a substitution, they will
notify you
via text message.
The prices may be a bit higher than you might find in the stores themselves.
But,
then, you are paying much more for Schwan's.
And not every item may be available; but most are. It is actually kind of
fun to
browse and see all the different things that I didn't know stores carried.

There is a lot of conversation about grocery shopping. It is very difficult
to get
delivery from Shipt and Instant cart. The Meijer.com website seems difficult
with
screen readers.
One very reliable, in my experience, is Schwan’s Frozen Food. They visit
your home
and deliver the food in real time. The only restriction, due to the virus, is
that
the driver is not allowed to come inside the home, which is a pretty minor
issue.
Mary and I have used this service for many years. The items include frozen
fruits,
vegetables, entrees, appetizers, desserts, including pies, and their famous ice
cream, either in cartons, pints or novelties. Once you try a Gold Nugget Bar,
you
will be hooked.
To sign up for service, call toll free 1-888724-9267. They deliver every 2
weeks.
You can order by phone or internet in advance or when the driver stops on the
bi-weekly schedule.
