Connie. Thanks for sending the obituary. Pat certainly did do a great job.
May you somehow find comfort in this time of grief. God be with you and Pat
and Denny at this time. And, thank you again for always being there for mom
and our family.

Mary Louise (Kruger) Grace <http://estesleadley.com/?p=16631>

Mary passed away peacefully and entered into Heaven on December 31,
2014, at the age of 93. She was retired from special transportation as
a driver for handicapped children. She was currently of DeWitt, Michigan.
She enjoyed sewing, gardening, bowling, golfing, playing pool, and
watching the Detroit Tigers and Atlanta Braves. She mostly enjoyed
spending time with her family.
She was instrumental in establishing the Michigan Blind Bowlers
Association along with the help of her husband. She bowled in several
leagues where she was league secretary. She served as tournament
director for the MI Blind Bowlers and was also a member of the Lansing
Bowlers Hall of Fame and a lifelong member of South Church.
Mary was a kind, gentle, sweet, caring person who loved and respected
everyone – always positive and finding “the good” in people. She always
had a smile!
She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard; parents, Artie and
Cordie Kruger; and sister, June Dyer. Surviving are her daughters,
Connie Grace and Patricia (Dennis) Shaver; grandchildren, James
(Connie) Himebaugh, Diane (David) Hammond and Ken (Shellie) Himebaugh;
great-grandchildren, Gregory Hammond, Daniel (Jan) Himebaugh, Philip
(Emily) Himebaugh, Mallory Zischke, Bradley Hammond and fiancée Allie
Holschback, Amanda (Jeff) Kennedy, Holley (Padriac) MacDonald and
Stephaney Himebaugh; two step great-grandsons, Nathan and Steven Baker;
two darling great-great-granddaughters, Journey and Vada MacDonald; two
sisters, Arlene Mott and Sue (Gerald) Burnham; several nieces and
nephews; and many friends.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3,
2015, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with the Rev. David
Brooks and Dr. Don Denyes officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel
Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8
p.m. on Friday and from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral
home. Memorial contributions may be made to South Church or Hospice
Advantage in Mary’s memory.
