Vickie,
I imagine right about now he's in the middle of the operation since its about
10:00
there. Hope things are going well and we're thinking about both of you.

Subject: [msb-alumni] FYI My Husband is In The Hospital
Asking for support and prayers. Duane is in the hospital. His right arm went
numb,
yesterday about 1:45PM. I made him call the veterans hospital and speak to a
triage
nurse. They told him of course, to call 911 and told us how to make sure the VA
pays
for it this time. So, we called 911 and they took him to the hospital which is
not
the VA, in Prescott. Of course, I couldn’t go along due to the virus. So he
waited 5 hours in the lobby after registering, and they finally did a cat scan
of his
head about 9:20PM. So, then today, they did an echo and an ultrasound of his
neck.
That’s the problem right there. The left artery in his neck is 95-99% blocked.
They
will be doing another cat scan tonight at the same time as last night, with
contrast,
so they can see the blockage and other things better. His arm is still numb.
So it’s
still going on. The nurse called me and described it as a TIA. So, it’s time
to ask
for prayer for him, and for me, since I can’t be with him.

May God bless you now, and evermore!
