I’m sure many of you know Becky, use to be Bright. She just posted the
following on facebook. I say, cutos to bea and others who work within the
Lions Club. I’m posting this one, because she has won a particularly well named
award, you will read about. So here’s her facebook post.

Rebecca Borka
I know I haven’t posted in a very long time. I have been very busy lately. In
the
last 2 years I have been very involved with my local Lions Club and my Lions
District
11 D1. My projects include being the second Vice President and membership chair
person
of the Grand Blsnc Lions Club. I am also District 11 D1’s District Chairperson
for
hearing and speech. After doing my district work for the past 2 years I have
applied
and was appointed State Chairperson for Council of iGoverns and the Lions of
Michigan
Foundation Services. My hard work and joy of my service to assist individuals to
get
hearing aids so they may engage in the hearing world has enabled me to proudly
receive
an A. Charles Weir award/
Fellowship for dedicated humanitarian service. I am proud to serve my district
and
my great state of Michigan. The Lions are hear you serve. Where there’s a need
we
are there. My motto is Lions love to hear. Thanks past District Governor Steve
VanTol
and my district 11 D1.
