Tony continues to be fidgety, agitated & now has C-diff, a bacterial
infection in the gut. His UTI is better, but he still can't urinate on his
own. He had 2 straight caths yesterday, to remove the urine from the bladder.
Today he had PT & OT come in & work with him. He's still displaying delirium
behavior. This could be caused by UTI & the Prednisone. He has a patient
attendant in his room at bedside to prevent him from getting out of bed, as
well as helping with using a urinal & portable potty chair. I've been busy
learning stuff from his kidney transplant team. He still won't eat. He ate 2
potato chips & part of a rice crispy treat. One day at a time. I'll try my
best to keep you posted.
