I will never forget she had to tell our whole class to shut up once. Not
sure if Larry remembers that or not. I think he, Tom Crisp, Vandervest and
Rodney Shaw were the culprits.

My heart will always carry many fond memories of Ann Manning. One in
particular was in 9th grade when she asked that we write a story,
(nonfiction or fiction), about our home town. Thus began the classroom
laughter, including hers, as most of the spelling of the towns and/or
cities were deplorable. Suffice it to say, that was one assignment
which had to be rewritten.
