leave, park the cars (please check the registration website to book a parking
place and car share where possible) so we are there in good time.

Everyone who is attending should have registered, you need to bring the
email/QR code as confirmation and proof of ID – its crucial you get this right
– again please check the registration page for further information.

Please also ensure the boys gain some sponsorship – mums, dads, brothers,
sisters, grandparents and so on – it all goes to the club for the end of season

Hi guys

My wife was doing the tough mudder on Saturday with a group so here’s some
observations for the boys doing this next week.

Timing: it’s incredibly busy. Registration takes a while, there are big queues.
I’d recommend getting there as early as possible. If the start time is 10.30
then should aim to be there for 8.30 latest. Our guys turned up at 8.15 for a
9.00 start time and didn’t get off before 10, which made it a bit stressy.

Parking. Need to book beforehand, costs £10 or £15 for premium (just a shorter
walk to event. Spectators also need to book a ticket beforehand.

If you’re watching, there’s no separate entrance for spectators which means
your queuing up with all the runners to get in. Again this means getting there
early if you want to watch the earlier parts of the run (I arrived at 9.15 and
only managed to see the later parts).

Phone service is very patchy. Worth agreeing a place to meet inside (eg bag
drop area).

There’s a bag drop to leave your stuff in when inside the event. Bring a change
of clothes & a towel for after, you’ll be wet and of course very muddy!

Lastly, it was a very positive event, everyone taking part is very supportive
and all the runners seemed like they hugely enjoyed it. Our group came away on
a real high. I think the team will have a great time and take away really
positive memories.

Please also see attached email from TM confirming what you need to bring on the
day – your QR code and ID – if you don’t bring this then you can’t do the TM.

Hi everyone,
Hopefully you have had a good Easter and maybe been able to enjoy some sun
today!
A quick update for you for the next 2 weeks:

  *   Training tomorrow evening as usual – 6pm
  *   If you are able come down to the club on Saturday to watch the last games
of the season 1st XV @ 1pm and 2nd XV (v Bracknell) @ 3pm – followed by fun and
music in the bar until late!!
  *   Sunday – the B’s face Chinnor at home in their last game of the season KO
10.15am on the AGP, then the As face Cwmbran KO 1pm.

     *   We need EVERY possible player to make these games happen – please
advise ASAP if your son is unavailable.
     *   Mike will send out the team sheets shortly
     *   Some of the Cwmbran group will be here on Saturday evening as well

  *   Sunday April 29th – the A’s face Amersham & Chiltern in their last game
of the season – again at home
Tough Mudder – Saturday May 5th:

James has issued the registration details for Tough Mudder – please ensure you
register your son ASAP.
As a reminder the boys booked and paid for to register include: Aman B, Ollie

Saturday June 30th :

I will issue information over the coming few days regarding our ‘end of age
group’ celebration on Saturday June 30th but please ensure you are keeping the

We are looking at Bubble football for the boys, awards, great memories, food,
music and karaoke – and an open bar!
