Amigos! Starting in January we're starting a 'Science After Hours' series at PCEI. Last year many of you attended our 'Science Uncorked' event, and this will be the same set up. Here's the skinny: *What*- Informal science education that seeks to connect grad students, researchers and the community in discussions about today's research. Presenters will give a ~20-30 minute presentation, and then facilitate a conversation. *When-* This will be incorporated into the Moscow First Thursday <https://www.facebook.com/moscowfirsthursday>, and thus will be held on the first Thursday of each month. So far we have plans to do this through April. *Where- *The first 'Science After Hours' on January 8th will be held at the Moscow Food COOP. From there we have Camas Prairie Winery for February, Moscow Chamber/Bookpeople/Mikey's for March, and hopefully on UI for April. In January, the theme will be "Exploring our Food Systems". We are looking for 3 or 4 presenters that are somehow related to the food system- agriculture, distribution, pollinators, water, etc. We are still working out themes for the other months, so if you interested but not in the food system, let me know. We will be starting to advertise the event after turkey week. If you are interested give me a holler!
