* Red Ribbon Week illustrates a commitment to and support of the fight
against illegal drug use. Our school participates in this national campaign
and we are committed to doing our part in teaching our students to refuse
alcohol and other illegal substances. Therefore, the School Counseling
Department presents “THE MAJOR KEY IS STAYING DRUG FREE”!!! Next week, on
October 23rd-27th we will kick off our **RED RIBBON WEEK CELEBRATION**!!!! *
*Monday: **“Say Peace Out to Drugs” *
*(Dress in RED and come to the cafeteria to take pictures with our Red
Ribbon Instagram Poster.) *
*Tuesday: **“My Future is Too Bright for Drugs”*
*(Wear Sunglasses and bright/neon colors!) *
*Wednesday: **“Go ORANGE”*
*(Dress in Orange against bullying and drugs.)*
*Thursday: **“I Was Born to Be Drug Free”*
*(Bring or email your cutest or most embarrassing baby picture to the
School Counseling Department by Wednesday to be placed on the Drug Free
Board. THERE WILL BE A COMPETITION AND A PRIZE GIVEN TO WHO CAN CORRECTLY
GUESS THE MOST BABY PICTURES. So please bring your pictures **J*
*Friday: **“It’s Out of My Character to Use Drugs” *
*(Dress up as your favorite book/cartoon/TV character. A prize will be
given to the best dressed of each grade level and teacher.) *
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING EVERYONE PARTICIPATE IN RED RIBBON WEEK
ACTIVITIES!!!!
