Subject: [moneytalks] Re: [money talks] New Version Feature Ideas
Below is the text of a tech support email which discusses changes that often
need to be made to ensure compatibility of Moneytalks with Windows 10 and
Jaws.
With this in mind, it would be helpful if the highlight tracking in the new
version was more standardized so that changes to the highlight color
settings in Jaws would not have to be made.
Also, it shouldn't be necessary for the end user to have to disable display
scaling on high DPI in the Compatibility tab.
Thanks much.
Don
"Move the mouse to a cell which is not highlighted. In other words, to a
cell on a line different than the
current line
First, move the JAWS cursor to the currently highlighted cell. This is the
hardest part, since JAWS is not
reading highlighted cells at the moment. The easiest way is probably to Hit
Ctrl+Home then Home to be
sure you are in the first cell of the account, then find the first cell with
the JAWS cursor.
Now, press Ctrl+Insert+H. This opens the color highlight dialog. Select the
option to set the foreground
and background. Select OK, and continue answering affirmatively to remaining
dialogs. This should get it
working again.
On newer computers with Windows 10, you may need to take the following
steps: Right click on Money
Talks icon, and in the Compatibility tab, be sure the box for Disable
display scaling on high DPI
settings. is checked."
