How did you search? Did you use the Find command, CTRL+F, or did you type the
first few letters of the category in the Category field?

Subject: [moneytalks] Fastest way to find a split transaction for editing?
While I was reviewing my category summary using ctrl + G, I came across a
subcategory which was an obvious error. I inadvertently entered into the
subcategory field something that should have gone into the memo field. When I
attempted to enter the first few characters of this subcategory in order to
locate and edit the transaction, the resulting transactions did not include it.
I realized that what I was looking for was part of a split transaction but when
I searched in the subcategory field after displaying splits by pressing F6, I
still was unsuccessful in locating the transaction in order to edit it. I
finally had to export my entire Money Talks history as a csv file where I
located the transaction using Excel.
Does anyone know of an easier way within Money Talks to locate a particular
split transaction?
Thanks in advance for your help.
