I have never had any problem with margins but will see if I can figure out how
to clear the printer buffer. My calibration has not needed changing except when
I have needed to purchase a new box of checks. Thank you for the information.
I wonder if there are any plans to update Money Talks.

updates to my printer driver that came automatically with Windows have caused
me a problem. In particular, I have seen the "unprintable margins" change at

The second issue may or may not have a MoneyTalks solution. Sometimes I have
found that printing other documents can leave a left-over line in the print
buffer. I have started routinely clearing my printer before printing a check
and that has eliminated problems with checks occasionally printing lower. On
my printer, I can clear my printers buffer by holding down the "cancel"
button for a couple of seconds, but that will very with the printer. Whether
there is some sequence MoneyTalks could send that would do this
automatically, I do not know. Pam, if you can't find a way to clear your
printer's buffer, it might be worth trying to turn your printer off and then
on before printing a check and see if printing becomes more consistent.

I have this problem as well. It appears to be intermittent.
Also, A few months ago I had a problem where the writing was too low on the
check even though the check was inserted in the printer correctly.

Hi all, never run into this before but my check won't print though my
printer is working fine. All items show up on money talks such as
amount, payee and so on. Any ideas how to solve this? Wish there would
be an update for this software some day. Running the upgrade for windows
