With Regrets!
JR and I are on stand-by for being Grandparents for our first Martin boy! A
new generation to carry on the family name! We're so excited for all our
babies, in just that our Abby has been on the high risk with our little one
for 4 months now. We are praying that God will keep our little one safe in
his Mommy's tummy for at least another six weeks if possible. We put him in
God's hands...

Fellow Lions and Friends, once again it's time to register for a Mid-South
Lions quarterly meeting. This one will really be a treat! *We will be
meeting in the St. Louis, MO area for the first time in many years. * Our
meetings will all be held in the Overland, MO Lions Club Den at 2358
Lackland, Overland, MO 63114.
Friday's meeting will be a dinner meeting with the Hall of Honor induction
of PDG Herb Marshall and featuring a wonderful St. Louis-style barbeque
meal with all the trimmings and an open bar. This meal is $17 per person.
Saturday's lunch will be another St. Louis favorite, a variety of pastas,
sauces, and breads. The bar will be open for this meal as well. The cost
for this meal is $13. Total for full registration is only $30 per person.
*We will be honoring PDG Herb Marshall from Charleston, MO at the Friday
evening dinner. He will be inducted into the L. B. Baker Hall of Honor. We
would love for as many Missouri Lions to be there to help us honor one of
their own. Lion Herb, along with several other Missouri Lions, was
instrumental in bringing Missouri into Mid-South Lions and was president in
1989-1990 as we adopted HEARING as part of our organization's service. He
was a staunch Mid-South supporter, and his service will be recognized at
this meeting.*
Here is the tentative agenda for the meetings:
On Friday we'll gather at the Lions Club Den where hospitality officially
begins at 6 and dinner will follow at 7. There will be a brief executive
committee meeting following dinner. We're looking at 8:30 PM at the
Embassy Suites Hotel lobby for that meeting.
Saturday's sessions are as follows (all meetings will be at the Overland
Lions Club Den):
8:30 AM - Trustees
9:00 AM - Case Service Committee
9:45 AM - Governance Committee
10:30 AM - Past Presidents
11:00 AM - Finance Committee
11:45 AM - Meetings Committee
12:30 PM - Lunch and Fundraising/Auction Committee
1:45 PM - Board Meeting
3:00 PM +/- Adjourn
