Hi All,
As I have a big lathe (2 metres between the centres) I figured it was
time for a small one,
a little thing that can be put on the bench and taken away again, at a
moments notice.
So I just bought the "red and black C1".
This is the same thing as the "microlathe" that is sold by Axminster, or
the Clarcke 250 (yellow machine) that is sold by Chronos.
The difference is, that I paid *299 Euro'*s for it, and that is a lot
cheaper that the English prices.
(340 UKP for Chronos= *516 Euro's,* 280 UKP for Axminster= *425 Euro'*s)
If anybody wants to know if the vendor ships to the UK (and what that
costs!) feel free to replay...I will try to find out.
