Alan Hi,
I have inherited my father 13th edition which has most of the information that
the 26th edition has in possible even more of the old British standards which
seem to of been omitted thises days.
The Kemps that i also have has many things not covered by the machinery's hand
book, the edition is 1946 and cover many things that we find hard to find these
days for refferance.
I also have a British Machinery's thread book which tells me lots of
information of all types of threads that i have not even heard of, being only
45 lots of old info is before my time.
I have come across many old book on engineering and model engineering of ways
of getting around problems and ideas that these days the current engineers of
modern firms, i would think would not have any ideas how to solve.

Regards John Burridge
