Bryan,
I did what the instructions said, and that's what I was doing all along. The
message that comes up after it tries to install is "cannot install driver
because the wizard could not find the necessary software." I am selecting
the "driver" folder through the install wizard.

Omar, I've looked again, and there is no setup. Sorry. My mistake.
You should have the Yamaha Universal MIDI driver.
When you unpack it, in the same folder where you find the "driver" folder,
there is a file called "installationguide_en.pdf". All of the details
regarding how to install the driver are in that file. Please read it.

installing the usb/midi driver for the xs. I did what you said, and did not
find a setup.exe in any of the driver folders.
