found on the ES and Classic? I have the original sound from the inspiration
in a flash, but that didn't include the brighter variations, and I liked

The waveforms are all there, but some have been changed and/or modified,
meaning if you loaded the ES x3a file that Yamaha provided, you will note
that the voices don't all sound the same, and neither do the arps. So if you
are looking for an exact replica of the ES voices, no, the xf doesn't have
the same sounds. If you've used and need the eS sounds for some projects,
I'd say keep it. You'll find this out soon enough when you get your xf ;)

Can someone tell me if the sounds on the eS are also contained in the XF? In
other words, do I need both machines, or can the eS Rack be retired and
sold?
