So does this mean I don't have to worry about installing any of the softward
that came with the keyboard itself?

The editors don't remote control the keyboard.
  The editors allow you to:

Create your own instrument voices, or modify the built-in ones.

Build a library of voices that you've made on your own, or downloaded from
the Internet, and load/save them to/from the Motif.

Create your own performances (splits and layers)

Create your own master setups (quick lists of
voices/performances/songs/patterns that you can call up when playing live).

Modify mix settings when working with songs or patterns, so that you can
change how the mix sounds in detail.

The scripts improve Jaws performance with the editors, and are $15. For the
moment, you e-mail me your Jaws serial number and Paypal me $15 if you want the
scripts. I send you the scripts and an unlock code.

You need to buy the editors directly from John Melas' site.

  Bryan

Does this software allow you to control the keyboard via the computer? For
example, if I wanted to record a brand new pattern into the XS, could I use the
computer sofware and save it into the XS rather than try and learn all the
screens on the keyboard itself? How much are the JAWS scripts for the Motif XS
editors?
