From what I know thus far (still new to the XS) you can go into Song Mode
and create a song. You will need to move to an empty slot (just like
Robert's tutorial shows) (using the "increment" putton).

One question please, IF I want to creat a song, do I have to creat a padern
first or can I go in to song mode and start from there without creating a
padern.
