 Thanks,
I am using sonar 6.2 but I am not having any problems there. My problem is in
Melodyne version 3.1. I am using it in a standalone as I don't know how to
intergrate it with sonar.
I set it up using midi kables but I still get the same problem. I am guessing
that the motif is sending more midi data then what Melodyne can handle.
I just don't know how to thin down the amount of info that the Motif is sending
to Melodyne.

thanks

Hi,
when you are working with your daw, you should turn off yamaha midi port 4,
because it sends unessesary sysex data (this port is rezerve port and there is
no need to hold it turned on). We are assuming you use sonar, so go
options>midi and uncheck all in and out ports with number 4. That's it. If you
already made a big project and don't want to recreate it, you should use cal
files to delete all unessesary sysex data or delete that data using event list.
If you do not have cal file, plese let me know i will atatch it later.
ps
melodyne can be used with standart midi USB cable, so please let us know whitch
daw do you use and version of melodyne
